Group Fitness Instructors need hands-on practice

Many people take the leap and get certified to teach group classes. This usually only requires attending a weekend workshop and maybe passing a multiple choice test; or sometimes not even this much.

However, we don't think two days and a test is enough to teach you everything you need to know to run a fun and engaging class; and you shouldn't either. Unfortunately, many people never start their new careers because they never get the right education and never gain the right experience to get started.

Our comprehensive course gets you AFAA-certified and ready to work FAST!

Make no mistake. This is not a cookie-cutter weekend certification workshop. Our 6-week course is the first of its kind in South Florida. It teaches you the knowledge and skills needed to begin your career as a successful AFAA-certified group fitness instructor.

Included is AFAA’s Group Exercise Instructor (GFI) certification exam, educational modules on anatomy & exercise science, and of course hands-on instruction with designing and presenting group exercise classes.

Specific topics covered include:

Understanding the principles of group fitness instruction
Developing the ability to design group fitness classes
Effectively teaching a class to motivate and inspire your participants
